Memory of having to clean and polish it every week

When we had people over the plates and cutlery was used from this kassie.

That kassie was polished weekly, my brother and I use to fight over who must polish it every week, in the end, it become part of our upbringing, cleaning it weekly

How does this piece of furniture make you feel?

I hate it, because of the cleaning it, but also fond memories as we always had people over and the plates would be used from it

Yes, it does, it means gathering, family over.

What we had in our houses was not much but it was part of who we are.
