You had a love/hate relationship with it because it would be positioned in the middle of the house in a hallway. Easy to access if the phone rang ma dan kon almal jou conversation hoor.

How does this piece of furniture make you feel?

Definitely sentimental. I can picture my ouma on it chatting to the neighbours even though they were just next door.
